Forests of Earth & Air
We depend upon these lush stands of trees for oxygen to breathe, for our air and water to be purified, and a diversified group of wildlife to seek shelter and sustenance. These vibrant forests slant down to creeks, ponds, rivers and lakes, winding their way through the landscape. The trees help to create an anglers paradise, by the deadwood creating fish habitat at the bottom, or shelter in the shadow of a limb. The Pickerel River area is home to a vast expanse of forest, sometimes it goes as far as the eye can see. It is this, that makes us feel free, that warms our heart, and reminds us all is right in the world.
